Looks like life is at pause. It’s different experience to stay home that I am not used to specially when everything is closed. I used to take my daughter out for her piano classes or other classes on weekends so it was never off for me. I think now I start to know my daughter more and she start to know me more. Our relationships will be more stronger in these periods of isolation when we both have to spend time together like watching move together on Netflix, painting colors or cooking some noddles together. I felt in starting when it’s being announced from her school that she has to stay home because of coronavirus spread everywhere and cane to know that all parks , chuckee cheese or restaurants, movie theaters and even her play dates everything is cancelled including my work so I felt it’s the big pause of my life and how will I manage but it came out to be good . She is a good kid and I am blessed to have her . Stay safe everyone and enjoy the best time from your busy schedule with your kids . Time flys by and we don’t know when kids grow that fast. These precious moments are priceless. Keep your family safe .

It’s been already 3 days when me and my daughter stuck in home because of the fear of Coronavirus. Everything has been closed my daughter school is shut down for 3 weeks and her afterschool activities are cancelled too. It’s so weird that most of the supply of water and toilet paper gone from all shopping places. People buy it even before employees put on shelves. Everyone is so scared because of many deaths in the area and it’s spread is so fast that we don’t even know who is infected or who is not so no one wants to come out of the home and did grocery for many months in advance because we don’t know when will the government will findout the vaccine or medicine to control it. It’s pandemic. So far people died more than 5000 worldwide and 170,000 are infected according to reports and many many numbers are uncountable who have no idea if they are infected or not. So scary . May god give strength to everyone to go through this tough time.

My Favorite place is my parents home . I love traveling and every summer or winter vacation I love to go out to have some exposure for new place . But no matter wherever I travel I make sure I visit my parents place ,that is in Canada and then we all plan to go somewhere and buy tickets for hotels and book rental car ahead of time . I did my schooling in hostel after my 10th grade ,so I couldn’t spend time with my parents and used to visit them only on vacations and now it’s my habit I guess to see them every 6 months . My parents live in Calgary Canada and recently we planned to visit Jasper and B.C which was 10 hr drive from Calgary . Jasper is the most beautiful place anyone can imagine, we all loved the drive , the view and so much greenery everywhere. It’s beautiful but without my parents company ,it’s nothing I guess so I would say my Favorite place is my parents Home where I get peace , relaxed and so comfortable and have home cooked food .

Holi is popularly known as the Indian “festival of spring”, the “festival of colours“, or the “festival of love”. Red colour reflects fertility, blue is the colour of Krishna, yellow is the colour of turmeric, and green symbolises the start of spring and something new. Other than this, holi is also played with flower petals like that of roses, daisies, sunflowers. An ancient Hindu festival, which later became popular among non-Hindu communities as well, Holi heralds the arrival of spring after winter. It signifies the victory of good over evil and is celebrated as a day of spreading happiness and love. The festival is also celebrated as thanksgiving for good harvest. This is my favorite festival of indian culture.

When we talk about family, we talk about lots of memories attached to people who are very close to you, your parents who are your soul, your brother sister who are your best buddies regardless of their age and your existing family if you are married that is your husband and kids. I am talking about my family means my parents who live in Canada and 3 hr flight from California. I miss them a lot and specially when my brother calls me and tells me what is he eating that my mom cooked for him or for my sister . I get super jealous and pray I wish I be there but we don’t value the relationships when we have them. I come from strict family rules and used to say that once I grow up I will stay far far from all of you guys and we never know when our wish comes true. Now when I am parent of 2 kids and realize they were never be strict to me, I was the one always gave them hard time and miss those days that I always wanted to run from. Every moment is a gift and enjoy it and never wish for something when you are not mutate enough to decide because we never know what wish can get fulfilled. I fell the pain to be far from them and can go there only when my kids have school vacations. So please wish wisely and no one in this world can love you more than your parents who gave you birth and your kids who you gave birth. Rest all relations will think twice to pickup your call but these umbilical core relations will be there for you forever regardless of your age, beauty, money and even love or hate. Love you family.

It’s great experience to go back to school after 20 yrs, I graduated from my medical college in 2001 from my home country India, then worked there for many years . When I moved to America I had no clue that my education and all my degrees has no value unless I write tough exams . I totally forgot everything as I had theoretical knowledge not the books knowledge anymore. But after having family kids. I still wanted to take baby steps for my life and do something again to climb this ladder . Was not easy but I know one thing if I can’t do for myself then none will do. I wanted to be a role model for my child and wanted to set an example that life can start from scratch from any age. Never that what people will say. They will say something for sure, in starting they will try to pull you down , make things harder for you and make fun of you and these same people will clap for you when you become something in life towards your goal. It’s easy to quit but need guts to take first step forward. In first day of my class all students were close to my sons age but I felt good that it’s good I will learn something new. I was going to attend classes in American colleges . It’s different than my country . It’s different experience and I am taking it as positive step of my life and happy that I always thing about everyone but I am thinking about myself first time . God bless me to achieve my goal.

We all get excited when weekends come and plan ahead of time what are we going to do on weekends. I do the same, but I guess Saturday is the day to go for get together either it can be going to friends house for my daughter’s play date with her friends or someone’s birthday or grocery that we can’t avoid. We all still keep on thinking that it’s okay we still have one more day which is Sunday to rest and set back and watch tv. As soon as day starts all of sudden we start to feel that laundry is still pending, closet looks so bad and bathroom and bedroom looks so messy and if we go to front yard or back yard then it looks like gardener didn’t do his job properly so it starts from laundry and finish at garden. At the same time as a mother it’s always in back of mind to cook something special of my child since it’s Sunday so everyone rest on Sunday but I feel like I should make it rest day for my family but sadly when I cook something special for my husband he is too busy to watch something on tv and forget to say thank you for your efforts and my daughter is too busy to play Roblox games on her laptop. I wish they come to kitchen or see what I do whole day when it’s rest day for them but working day for me without any break . But I still love them.
